Not sure. I only use MT4 to open orders, that's all. Ancient piece of software. Anyway it shows you volume for the past day so 30minute chart and below are ideal. For daily or H4 you'll need the fixed range VPVR

You need to go to indicators --> volume profile --> session volume... bear in mind that you need to have a monthly subscription in order to use the volume profile. Hope it helps.
