Update for USDJPY on 26.1.18 Price retraced and hit my stop loss, realized profit of $14.19. Lesson learnt, maybe my stop loss could have placed on the further resistance level to allow the noises to pass. But still happy as I've profited!

5% is too huge imo. Being a beginner, I use <1% of my equity in all my trades. This will slowly help me overcome my emotional hurdle. You can start big, but be reminded that the loss you have to take!

It can be safe if you apply strict money management. With all else, your emotion plays a very big part too. So I advise you to trade on demo account before trading on actual account in the forex market. Cheers!
