If you have run BDM under 1045 on the same terminal and now have upgraded to 1049 delete the file MQL4/Files/BDM/startclean.txt Also do not forget to run the ForceLoadHistoricalData script before running BDM.

Btw. You do not download MT4 from MetaQuotes, you use your already installed MT4 and use new account-> new demo account and than use "MetaQuotes Demo" as the server name to connect to. This will update your terminal to 1049 after that just reconnect ...

Actually i have no idea. I only create an account, get the latest (beta) version and after that remove everything.

Create a demo account on the MetaQuotes demo server. It will be 1049 and that version will be placed in your MetaQuotes webinstall folder. If you start any other terminal after that it will be updated to 1049.

I can conform that 1045 does not work. Traders Way and IC Markets both updated to 1049 last night and that works. I think others will follow soon. "Also i tried some of the Gig Chart Diplay Management you advised" Gig ?

The 1045 was a real crappy update from metaquotes. If your broker doesn't update you to the 1049 before markets open on Monday, let me know and i could always provide a 1049 terminal.exe and a metaeditor.exe. BDM has no problems with 1049.
