Interesting. I can definitely see the strong upward trend with some consolidation at the moment, bouncing off support at .9385. Wondering about your statement on sentiment? Is your view based on market news? e.g. Forexlive's market commentary ...

Thanks for creating this great ebook PhAnTi. In the the book you go into great detail about the mechanics of the market (supply / demand) and so on, so I was surprised to see that you did not discuss anything theoretical surrounding MACD and ...

The key with trading breaks figuring out when to get in and out. I tried for a long time to trade range breaks with nothing but losses to show for my trouble. Any advice on high probability range break setups?

Hey palabara. I actually stopped trading for a while to focus on something that was actually making me money. I always liked scalping, but never managed to achieve constant profitability. I remember watching the Asian and European markets for hours ...

Thanks for posting up some lower timeframe charts Limey. I'll have a closer look when I get home from work. And just to clarify, I was not requesting you to post a highly detailed journal of your entries - time away from the screens is extremely ...

Hi Limey, thanks for continuing to post charts of your trades. It's great to see you growing a charity account so consistently. I'm certainly curious to see how big you can grow that account before donating it. Had you thought about organising a ...

Hi there Limey, thanks for posting all your helpful followup pointers in response to all my questions. Sorry I haven't been around since my last posting - had a rather busy few weeks moving house. Getting back into the world of trading once more

According to my IG platform, you can close out your position now at 96 (which is basically 100 before paying their spread). Could take this and run, or wait a little longer

While you're probably going to be okay, I really think that this sort of betting is unsafe and you will end up losing your account. Your risk return is rather crap for these sorts of trades. You're looking at 10:1 risk/reward. Seriously, it's ...

Need to run to work, but here's a small addendum to what I was saying earlier about divergence: image Essentially, I wonder if there's a better way of judging what we are trying to infer from divergence by just looking at price and maybe measuring ...

Ahh... I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Oanda doesn't purge inactive accounts, as far as I can tell. Even if you leave just a couple of dollars in there it will be considered a "profitable" account due to interest. Epic fail on Friday ...

I really think that one of the main reasons Oandians may be more profitable is due to the extremely variable position sizing. Allowing a minimum of 1 unit of currency really helps customers who have small accounts. You don't have to go out risking ...

That chart looks like it represents the trending activity of EURUSD. The big rise at the end corresponds to the 27-day uninterrupted uptrend that we've just seen. Therefore, my supposition would be that your settings see the trader focus on breakout ...
