Doji's have nothing to do with it. And which pair are you referencing? The daily volatility is calculated using the range from high to low for each day. The screenshot I posted is the average daily volatility ...EURUSD

Average DAILY volatility. EUR/CHF was at 52.3 pips and therefore too low to fit in the screenshot I posted.
