Please excuse an uninformed question from someone relatively new to intraday price movement.... Is NY open now or is it in another 45 mins or so? What time officially constitutes NY open?

Thanks - I totally agree on the indis.. I'm a J16er but only used to daily so just getitng my feet wet with intraday moves. It's just the same thing but quicker and with a few more fakeouts
