Shadow, as usual you hit the nail on the head. I must admit I think we will have a brief period of Us$ rally but then eventually oil supply/ demand will take over and oil prices will rise again...just my 2 pips

I'm with you on this one. $ is getting stronger. The LONG term chart shows it should bottom somwehere below 55 to make a move but at spme point the channel will reverse

Looking at this very macro level, with no technical analysis in the way, I'm bearish because of the key oil resistance point we broke through today. It slipped below 121, and my hunch is that USD is growing stronger each day at least short term. ...

I understand your point. I just don't see it retracing to 1.60 overnight. This is going to take a while. The oil broke a key resistance at 121...watch out for lower oil prices in the short term. IMO. And yes, I def see Euro touching 54 bfore ...
