d5400 replied Aug 18, 2022I setup S1 E1 around 5:00 broker time and turned off 24h, but no trades happened overnight. I did this on three brokers with similar settings. What did I do wrong?

d5400 replied Aug 17, 2022I'm slowly going through the thread while experimenting with _0A28. In the tester, why does it switch between H1 and H4 on its own? Is there a way to have it stay on D1, for instance?

d5400 replied Aug 13, 2022A29 is not handling XRPUSD SL very well. For buys it tries to modify order with negative SL, and for sells it's setting them very high

d5400 replied Jul 21, 2022Sorry for beating the dead dog with $2000 in his pocket, but something just hit me. This is a martingale system, because time=money. If you want to recover without increasing lot size, then you'll have to wait a bit longer. With lot martingale you ...

d5400 replied Oct 13, 2015Have to again respectfully disagree with you on TL's in general. We want to rely on hope as little as possible. I recommend reading "The New Science of Technical Analysis" by Thomas DeMark for strict rules for drawing TL's. Anyway, even if we go by ...

d5400 replied Oct 9, 2015It was a bad PB in poor location, but it did its job. Price went to the first trouble area and reversed. Not all trades go to the moon.

d5400 replied Sep 22, 2015With bar aggregation, you can still say that you trade orthodox J16 patterns. Your GBP/USD DCC with two bars on each side is a 3bar PB. Even 2 bars work.

d5400 replied Sep 10, 2015I like your entries GB, but since I'm slower than you, I prefer to enter precisely in the areas where you take profit, or loss, as it may be. My first winning trade in a while. Long AUDUSD, from 38.2 to 100%.

d5400 replied Sep 4, 2015I think it's too early to short. I would draw a down trendline on H4 chart and wait for it to be broken to the upside and go a couple legs before shorting.

d5400 replied Aug 31, 2015Quoting myself, how's that for conversation? CADJPY bounced as expected off PPZ. I'm in on touch trade. I think it'll post a PB or BUOB on 1hr. This setup affords me good trade management(i.e. if it closes below PPZ, I'm out). Will see what happens.

d5400 replied Aug 28, 2015Kershey, I quite enjoyed seeing how you drew the trendline on USDZAR 4hr chart. Have you read Thomas Demark? He draws from right to left. If you must know, USDZAR is reaching 100% DeMark's projection. No PA bars to speak of after the break, just one ...

d5400 replied Aug 28, 2015FXBat, there's a time for everything, in the right place. Entries can be anywhere: on close, on break, on retracement, as long as you can justify it to yourself, and have tested that it works. Kershey's doing fine. Small steps, folks! Slow and ...
