PayItForward replied Aug 30, 2017OK. Using more than one basket does yield higher pips if done correctly as evidenced by FPB and many others who use multiple baskets and achieve tens of thousands of pips however sure for a profit you only need one, agreed.

PayItForward replied Aug 30, 2017Thanks great work. Two questions, First - the writer accepts one indicator #, can this be changed to accept multiples, if you are using more on the one chart e.g. 1,2,3,4, etc (tried this but won't accept)? Second - can this be used on a live ...

PayItForward replied Aug 30, 2017Thanks for the info on the Stock Market, I will go by the time my broker states as Tokyo Open, if you choose to go by the Stock Market with your FX trading that is your decision, maybe ask your broker the GMT time for Tokyo Open and see what they ...

PayItForward replied Aug 30, 2017One of my goals from a while back was to collect 50 pips anytime so it looks like you have beaten me to that goal, well done bae67, that is why I started to do so many News trades including low impact with varying times down to M1. The way our EA is ...

PayItForward replied Aug 30, 2017I found the easiest way to determine correct TO time was to ask my broker and mine like yours, XMdotcom/trading-hours, says in the 1st paragraph"Tokyo opens at 00:00 am and closes at 9:00 am GMT" so I just go with their information. If I can find ...

PayItForward replied Aug 29, 2017Am in total agreement with you ... for me, and it is all personal, FIFO is the strategy of choice. I always remember another trading group here, now disbanded, where their target was 6 pips TP with a 30 pips SL. Their success rate over the long term ...

PayItForward replied Aug 29, 2017Just going through the trades from 29th, 813 FXMEQB, as below #1, I believe an excellent result, thanks FXMadness. The pips were lower than the FerruFx indis #2 below, but the maximum RR is far better in #1. I would be very happy with either live. ...

PayItForward replied Aug 28, 2017@FxMadness Great to read you are designing a graphical EA, are you taking requests like SOH (Sit On Hands) etc to be incorporated or are you designing based on your on personal (private) EA that you use? Greatly appreciated either way

PayItForward replied Aug 28, 2017The only answer I know of with this is the SOH (Sit On Hands) approach as used in e.g. EAX (it may be in others) where you can select how long after a trade is closed you wish to SOH, e.g. mins or candles.

PayItForward replied Aug 28, 2017The initial pair/s that opened rose so quickly with profit that it offset the spread on the pairs that followed is the only explanation and is confirmed by the graph I opened.
