eyevoltage replied Oct 7, 2013Hello, Dan. Like any other method, this one has its trendy days and flat days. Plus, with my domestic commitments, my trading can be pretty erratic, so I've never really bothered myself with percentages, mate. The perfectionists will throw their ...

eyevoltage replied Oct 4, 2013Hello, dan, and nice to see you again. Yep, I'm still trading along the same lines. Once one has got used to seeing the various promising set-ups that keep occurring, there doesn't seem much point in trying other methods, although I can't resist ...

eyevoltage replied Oct 4, 2013Well done, snail!! I'm always pretty busy on a Friday, with very rarely time to trade. All I can do is watch.
Not so bad when it's a quiet trading day, but very frustrating when there's been some good moves!

eyevoltage replied Oct 3, 2013Good trade, snail. Those small retracements (stutters) back to the pivot level before continuing on, are great signals for high-probability trades. Do me a favour, snail, and tell me what the small-dashed white line is? Can't quite make out what it ...

eyevoltage replied Oct 3, 2013Good one, snail, after the continuation. This is the 15m NZDUSD. Price dropped below the DO and then retested it for resistance before dropping down to FPV. Entry and exit as shown. Turned out to be a very short trade!

eyevoltage replied Oct 2, 201315m EJ....... I've been involved in other things today, so I unfortunately missed this one on EJ. A retrace from FS1 back down to FS2 before a long-legged doji and a small spinning-top formed in the FS2/13ema confluence. Price then started up again, ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 26, 201315m GU again..... Another retrace to just short of the MAs, where the blue rectangle shows a reversal pattern known as a "sash" pattern, I believe. Pretty simple in and out sort of trade. Entry and exit as indicated. SL just above the FPV.

eyevoltage replied Sep 26, 2013They all count, snail!
And the expression over here in the UK is: "not my cup of tea"!! However, any profit at all certainly IS my cup of tea!!

eyevoltage replied Sep 26, 201315m GU...... This is a nice example of how one can use the MA as a point of S/R. Price retraced all the way up to the 13ema and stopped dead in its tracks with a shooting star candle. Following that, was a long-legged doji, indicating a brief ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 25, 2013Dimkarta, in my opinion, on both charts, you were entering trades where price was literally going sideways. You need to wait for an obvious trend, up or down, where the MA's are separated and moving together in the right direction. One has to have a ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 25, 2013Some good charts from snail and Dimkart recently. Keep 'em coming! This is a 15m EU trade, prompted by the little "stutter" just above the FPV line, and the nice widening of the MA's. Entry and exit as shown.

eyevoltage replied Sep 19, 201315m EJ................ A sideways wedge along FR4 with the MA zone nicely spread looked promising. However, once I was in, I didn't expect the relatively fast rise to the midpoint (MR5). The following "stutter" on MR5 was worth watching because of ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 19, 2013Good one, snail. I see that price has now pushed right through R3, so it's over to the Fib charts now for this pair, where price has come to a sudden halt at R4.

eyevoltage replied Sep 18, 2013Nice one, Dimkata. An entry after a test for support! Lovely! I used to use the 5m TF a lot, D, but I found that moving up to the 15m resulted in a more relaxed trading environment, so I've stayed there ever since.

eyevoltage replied Sep 17, 2013A long trade like that would drive me mad, snail!
Which is why my trades are usually quite short by comparison, and easier to handle. "EV style" indeed!

eyevoltage replied Sep 17, 2013Thanks, snail. Things are a little clearer now!
No offence, but I don't really interest myself in Harmonic Patterns. I reckon there's enough on a chart to interpret without adding even more stuff. However, each to his own. Thanks again, ...Psych Levels, Pivots, and Trendlines - Resurrected
