Toying with the idea, at leaving it at the default which for FXCM and GBP is 10pips ( also the Min ) To be honest, I don't see me being stopped out more, as I rarely see a -10pips that doesn't stop me out at 15 - 17 anyways. But I'm also paying $10 ...
How far is your Stop loss

I'm very much a day trader, and my account is very small, so I aim to be a sniper pretty much on my entrys, ie I jump in on the existing Short Term Direction, using a set of SMA based rules, so I run a 15-17pip stop ( 5 of this is generally the ...

My stop is there, purely as worse case 17 - 20pips normally ( ie PC crashes, power goes down ) most of the time I exit before getting stopped, if only a point or 3 saved, it still helps. I rarely place a limit order, except for if I leave a trade ...
Money Mangement, Do you take it serious?

You could class them as different trades entirely and therefore risk being leveraged higher on the grounds that you won't hopefully get slapped on all 3. I do this with GBPUSD and EURUSD, although there linked I feel safer splitting my $$$'s over 2 ...
More lots through hedging
- Turveyd replied Aug 28, 2006
Although it's important, the trade is the main important part. I've got a simple system, where I trade at a level when 200pips can go against me, unless ofcourse I'm on 1 Lot, then I has to try to turn it around, keeps me in the game and easy to ...
