michaelpelly commented Apr 20, 2015[quote=dionyssus;8217353] What Bulgaria have to do with Greece debt problems? Or now Bulgaria is to blame for this - we come this low already :-). What about people from Alpha-Centaur, do they have something to do with Greece public finances? :-).
Athens is draining money from local governments as it desperately tries to avoid a default

michaelpelly commented Apr 20, 2015In all posts like yours I see the subtle suggestions that the government class is somehow "separated" from the people that elects those. Even ordinary Greek people are complaining about those and call those thieves. Yet the ordinary Greek people are ...

Signs the market is girding for a Greek default, in 4 charts

michaelpelly commented Apr 18, 2015Because no political party wants to take the responsibility of the havoc the default would bring in the first 3 yrs. I can't really understand why everyone on this forum think a default is just a joke - and the next day everyone is happy. If Greece ...

michaelpelly commented Apr 16, 2015I guess Bloomberg went out of "unexpectedly" non-impressive US data explanations and went to some fairytale article writing. Euro is a fact and will stay probably for a long time. Even if Greece defaults and leaves the EZ.

'Timebomb' UK economy will explode after election, says Albert Edwards

michaelpelly commented Apr 14, 2015It is disaster for Greece - if you know what was there situation at late 70s. I would not project euro falling apart because one member left EZ. Greece is symbolic, non factor - ECB will just reroute funds to the banks swamped with bad Greek debt, ...
Greece will declare default if IMF talks fail - FT
-
michaelpelly commented Apr 14, 2015Well - sometimes it happens without any multiple bottoms. The euro sometimes reverse swings just like that - one week red and then couple months green with very little retrace. No general rule for swings.

GBP/USD: Making fresh multi-year lows

michaelpelly commented Apr 13, 2015I love how underpaid "analysts" are composing such crap. And even have numeric mistakes "...the break of the strong support at 1.4814...". Checking the monthly chart for all-time lows doesn't make you analyst. 1.35 was immediate post- financial ...
GBP/USD: Making fresh multi-year lows

michaelpelly commented Apr 13, 2015The swing reversals are usually quite innocent. For example if the trend is down there would be some retrace rally for 3-4 weeks, then it will dip, then another upward move, and until everyone wonders "is this just a correction" - it is already 600+ ...
