OK, I bought it. In my opinion this patterns provides quite a good configuration for successful penetration: sellers lost their teeth in shake-out, buying from them occurred at cheap price and many were left by it behind -- those who would otherwise ...

Only a quick update, this pattern on DX from yesterday made me stay in the trade overnight. Should it be observed, it suggests further dollar weakness: image

Should levels we identified not be observed, it would be further indication that something is in the cooking regarding EU. For this case, I already bought a little of that pair.

Yes, interplay between SAM, Deadly, market confluences and price attractors (in beta testing :-) ) should be very educational for us today. We can now assume that pattern on EURCHF was calling for completion: presently we can sit tight and observe ...

Bottom of the zone is from candle that started the momentum. Top of the zone is from upper wick of candle that cleared area above for the momentum to occur (preceding candle in this instance).

Think of highlighted area as a zone where absorption of the demand (buying) should occur. Should we identify strong enough such area, momentum might be stopped and reversed. image

Think of stop-losses around such areas regardless of directions one has taken. It's too tempting to clean both corners for them before next move, wouldn't you think?

Yes, it is always good to look for market confluences. EURCH however seems stronger on this level than Swissy, so Swissy should be leading indicator IMHO. "Strength of system is determined by its weakest part."

Risk:Reward ratio (esp. when entering during congestion), engulfing patterns, 123 formations, VSA. When I think about it, no need to try catching. In good setups, there should always be time for entry (at minor retests etc.). When you are tempted to ...

That is exactly gist of it! But I hope we won't let ourselves be dragged too far on the post-modern side of things. (oh, sorry: I read "Eu seems to be weaking up, rising" which would capture what it needs to be all about)
