With indices I prefer 1 min charts or 50 to 80 tick charts. .. If you want range bars play around with settings. You can use different ones. . Like 2 to 5 pips to look for perfect entry... And a 7 10 and 20 pip for a bigger picture this depends ...

You did pretty well.. .my advice is maybe go faster to BE. . you can always re-enter..... If price moves 10 pips in my direction I move to BE... . It is something personal but I prefer to move to BE as fast as possible .....
