This is great news for me. Ever since getting booted out of CMS Forex I've been desperately searching for a broker with both a great desktop software AND a solid mobile application for BlackBerry...like CMS had. Oanda's MT4 is perfect because I can ...
Oanda goes Metatrader

Proud to say I'm finally at stage 3. After two blown accounts and a lot of humiliation and frustration, I have finally gotten my head around money management and have developed a sound methodology that I'm sticking with for the long haul. I'm not ...

I am seriously looking at Oanda. Just closed out my account with Forex.com. Oanda's platform isn't the greatest, but I believe the $$$ you make are more important than a beautiful software. Didn't they have the highest percentage of profitable ...

Don't know if it's a good price or not, but it is definitely cheaper than dealing with a human broker (ie. in a bank). I've heard that Interactive Brokers is the cheapest (0.70 per options contract) but you need at least $10K to open an account ...

As a CMS refugee at Forex.com, a chill went up and down my spine as I read this thread. Fear for my money. I made a request on Thursday to close my account and withdraw all of the funds. Here's hoping the money is in my hands next week...but I am ...
GAIN Capital Group fined $459.000

Ugh, a week and a half into my Forex.com experience and I hate it. I should have stuck to my guns and held true to my resolve, (as indicated in my very first post in this thread), and closed my account. Can't believe I got talked into sticking ...

Well my new Forex.com account is up and ready. I lost 0.15 in the transition process as they rounded my balance down to the nearest dollar. Actually I lost 0.16...as 0.01 still sits in my CMS account...gee I wonder if I should request a withdrawal ...

I funded my account last week after being seduced by the "Holiday Bonus" they had running. Truly an ingenius, and devious, marketing scheme to lure people in, knowing full well that they're closing up shop soon after. BTW, still no response from ...

Yeah CMS told me the same thing...but I am waiting for Forex.com to confirm it. So far all they're telling me is that they're looking into it.

A CMS rep told me that they are talking with GAIN about getting the VT Trader integrated into their feed, but that it's a work in process. Maybe eventually we'll be able to use it there.

Oh 200 pips...thought you said $200. Hmm, that wouldn't have been possible on the EUR/USD...the big drop was only 125 pips or so. Yeah talk to your broker, (if indeed you were trading this pair...maybe you were trading the EUR/JPY).

Why do you think they would give it back to you? You placed a trade and lost...why would you get your money back?

Unbelievable chaos today...especially EUR/JPY's 1000 pip drop. What a volatile day...and we still have NFP to look forward to tomorrow. Anyway, short @2645, and pending short ready @2695. Target mid-2300s.

Just wanted to clarify that the question was specifically about 61.8%. I know what Fib retracement is all about, but why is it that people seem to place the most emphasis on 61.8%...as opposed to the other ratios, (23.6%, 38.2%, etc). What is it ...
