Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007Okay, I re-read what I wrote, and in the last sentence I should have said that at the place where you have the arrow the solid line was "above" the dashed line. So it was bullish at that point in time, but bearish in the most recent two or three ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007The QQE60 bearish condition is when the solid line (in your case blue) is under the dashed line. The 50 line can be ignored. Our original QQE60 indicators didn't even have a 50 line. The 50 line cross over is only used with the QQE1 and QQE5 on the ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007That sounds high to me. But both Japan and UK have news releases in a few hours, and the right combination of numbers could send things up. If so, I'll probably aim for the mid 231's to either fill the gap, hit the 1hr 50ema, or hit the 4hr Gann, ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007The GJ trend is still bearish (big surprise). But the 4hr chart is oversold and the 1hr chart is at least borderline oversold. The Dow is positive for the time being, and if that doesn't change we shouldn't have much downward pressure on GJ for now. ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007LOL . . . the beast dropped another 400 while I slept! Probably a good thing the NY markets are closed today, because I don't think they'd do very well. These are "interesting times" . . . hope everyone is trading carefully.

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007For me personally, the signals don't have to "generate" while on the right side of the pivot point. But before I actually take the trade, price has to move convincingly to the correct side of it. Otherwise I don't consider it a 15min trade, just a ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007I'm not sure. Mine shows 231.98, but others seem to disagree. The difference might be due to different start / end times, in combination with the high volatility. But I'm not sure how it should be handled. Maybe split the difference, and use an ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007[quote=revoli;1710445] There is no long trade in process. We were just discussing the 15min strategy indicators, and how some were turning bullish there for awhile. Nobody made a trade call. I agree . . . the pivot is definitely wrong.

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007That's my usual setup for it, too. If I was to take a long today, however, I would probably skip the 1hr 100sma rule. Price seems comfortably below it, and the 100sma probably wouldn't pose resistance problems.

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007Hi Rod, I think having a central place (the web site) is going to work out better than having several different versions of documents floating around. I really like what you've done with it!

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007I hear you. Originally he wanted everyone to use VT Trader. With that one, it lets you know that it requires EST. It also gave pretty consistent readings from one person to the next. But some people rebelled, naturally, and wouldn't switch from MT4. ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007There always seem to be discrepancies with the pivot. But usually pretty small. I think it mainly comes from the data from our brokers, as opposed to the platform itself. I set mine to 3 EST for the London session. That's the equivalent of 8AM ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007Looks like the London pivot is 231.98. Too high. I've seen Aus make long calls when price is firmly above the pivot, even if everything wasn't generated above it. The "rules" should all be followed when you're testing out the strategy, otherwise you ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007There might be a 15min chart long trade developing. The 15min QQE's are all bullish, but we're too far below the daily pivot (232.85). Maybe once London session starts the pivot will be lower, and the other indicators will still be looking good. The ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007I also see the GJ 1hr chart's QQE5 has just crossed up. It's way below the 50 line (which is fine), but the solid line is now crossed above the dashed line. That's a good bullish sign. But until this 1hr candle closes, the QQE can still "uncross" ...
