...but it was a short trade, wasn't it?...shorts have stoplosses above swing highs. edit: EU hrly now at potential support becomes resistance switch

EU GU advice — ...as EU & GU appear to be correlated most of the time, wouldn't it be best just to focus on EU given the better spread? edit: having said this, i guess it depends on the price action (one over the other) around signal time.

Yes, i think if you're completely clear with people on what they can expect from you, it will be manageable....but as you know, chatrooms by definition generally tend to be chaotic and unstructured...not sure how easy it will be to set up properly ...

My experience with trading chatrooms, is that initially they're frantic with 100's of members clamouring for advice and constant repitition of the basics....the next stage is usually where a smaller nucleus stay for a while and good things happen ...

...there were a couple of posts about this earlier, Cubby. If you were involved and maintained the momentum it's a good idea IMO. The moment you disappear though and it will die....go for it, if you're up for it!

Thanks Cubby, appreciated. So do you generally take the signals right up until data is released to get underway as the news hits the price, or do you have a cut-off point, say 15mins before key data?

Could be useful, Rare, although i've traded within other rooms and most end up being no more value than an FF thread...depends who uses it I suppose.

Know what you mean, i've been trading for a while and traded for a year fulltime but it wasn't for me - this strat already feels a better fit than what i was using fulltime! Yup, who says we can't make money around NFP - i'm drooling too on this ...
