Yes for a valid entry the MACD has have signaled by crossing(lines) and a candle has to close above/below the ema tunnel. Then you need to take into consideration PA and support/resistance.

The 2 EMA's are both 8 period. 1 set to the high and one set to the low.

Took a couple of days off, Slow day today 1 Nice trade then tight sideways PA, waited for a break and went short again, so far looking like a small loss.

Also you can try changing brick size, it will surprise you how much going from 4 to 5 can change the chart. 4 Is best used on slow volume days. 5 or 6 for normal to heavier volume.
