Micro is 400:1 leverage. Standard is 100:1. They can give you lower spreads on Micro because you get NO phone support. If your software crashes and you are in a position, you cannot close or modify it until you get your software working.

I am on a micro account and it runs 1.5 to 2 pips during those times, usually the lower end. A standard account is higher at about 2 pips spread, though I don't have that kind of account (it is just what their website says).
