Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 14, 2007On the 15min chart, there's a dashed line called the "Trailing Stop Level". If price moves below that line (currently 228.79, but it could change) the red down arrow will appear. If the QQE60 crosses back down, then the red dot will appear. ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 14, 2007I was under the impression that MT4 had a pivot indicator, and that you could set it for either daily, weekly, or monthly with a parameter. Then you'd change the starting hour for each trading session. There is a section on Auslanco's new web site ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007I think your last sentence answered the question for you. We don't have a very good idea at that point whether a trade would still be profitable or not. It hasn't been thoroughly researched for time limits, plus it's difficult to know how many pips ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007I'm seeing a moderately bullish day for GJ, despite the general down trend. The 4hr QQE strength indicator has crossed up, joining the 1hr, 30min, and 15min QQE's. Price is well above the NY session daily pivot and the 4hr Gann. The Dow is up over ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007I think you're making it more difficult than it really is. My eyes are getting awfully tired from looking at charts, and it's 2AM here. But I promise to go through the things you've mentioned tomorrow and get back to you with a PM. It's obvious you ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007Hello. I really should know which platform you're using, because of some differences between MT4 and VT. But the 15min chart uses QQE60, QQE5, and QQE1. The other charts (like 30 min, 1hr, and 4hr) just use QQE5. On VT the QQE60 is part of the QQE ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007Well, remember that the 15min QQE1 and 15min QQE5 only have to be above the 50 line. They don't have to be crossed bullish like the other QQE's. They've both been above the 50 line on the 15min chart for 7 hours. The QQE60 has to be crossed bullish ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007Price was 226.93, and right around the 15min 5sma at the time. If I'd been a little more patient I could have had a better entry. I closed it out manually at a pretty good point though, before it retraced much. I'm hoping for a better long later but ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 13, 2007I just grabbed a quick 100 pips with a 15min strategy. Hopefully that 4hr/1hr will happen next . . . the 4hr chart is almost there. Strange how all my trades have been longs lately, even though price keeps falling.

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007Are you referring to the 15min chart? If so, they're the QQE60 cross ups and cross downs (bullish and bearish signals). They're part of the 15min strategy. Right now it's crossed up on GJ.

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007I think the market conditions during the past few days have been tough for the 15min strategy. Sharp drops and rises, that sort of thing. I can see what you're saying about the Gann / 5sma right now. But I'm not sure if that would hold up over time ...

Pips_Cruiser replied Nov 12, 2007What I see is that at point #1 you didn't "miss" a short entry. There was no short entry to make, because the QQE60 was bullish at the time. The signals would have been more complete six candles later, when the QQE60 crossed bearish. But if you ...
