Hi, Tom Williams wrote that we have to look for strength in a down-bar and for weakness in an up-bar, but the upthrust sometime closes below the previous close, making a downbar. What is it then a sign of weakness? Daniel

How is a gap-down formed? What is it's reason? For a gap-up, after a trading range, we know that's the smart money who want to keep traders in. But what happens in a gap-down?
