If price broke and closed above the green line on that white chart, would you go long on that? or do you always trade off a line? Sometimes when price breaks and closed above a solid swing high/low pivot they can really gain some steam.

A trend line doesn't show the action/ reaction of the market, but im probably not the best one to ask. A trendline connects the dots, while a fork cuts through price to show the path it will most likely follow.
