yeah, this was a stupid rookie mistake ... normally I almost always trade with the trend unless I see a very clear countersigna (this wasn't one of those clearly)

tickmill.co.uk has spreads of 4 to 15 pips so that beats Oanda way down.

After having been with Oanda for over 10 years, I switched to TIckmill.co.uk ... it feels like heaven with the much smaller spreads ... 4 to 15 pips at most.

my view is I think we'll gap up: 15M gave a buy signal late on friday. We'll see. I wouldn't read too much into that news: it was out on saturday and denied on sunday so probably no impact.
