Plus $65.08 for the day with no trades left open at all, using the far away settings shown in my prior post, trading at .10 each. Only the EUR/USD (level one tarde opened at 140), and EUR/JPY went to the second level with these pairs closing at ...

My settings — These are my settings. The notations of "STOPPED) are where the pair was stopped in a visula back test, but where I couldn't find any better settings without going so far out on the entry that I wouldn't get many trades. I would ...

Time frames — Here are three separate charts for the 5 minute, 15 minute and 1 hour time frame on the EUR/JPY. My entry point is 120 PIPS away from the 80 Moving Average. I'll let you study the charts for the differences, as it would be too ...

Even in a trend, a pair can go down by 60 pips and continue it's march. Not all here do, but I start my trades out at distances further away than 90 and using different time frames. I stay away from certain pairs that tend to trend more than others, ...

Plus $45.00 for just 3 days trading 13 pairs at .10 each on live account. Started Tuesday & shut down Friday morning. Not counting $20.00 on a few quick scalp trades that were around 110 from center but my EAs set at higher levels. Still looking at ...

How do you know the pair will keep trending, and won't reverse immediately, or in short while, the 60 PIPS?

12% in 1 and a half weeks is still fantastic! Just imagine what 8% a week would get you with an account of $50,000.00. Or, how about "just" half of that for 4% a week?

I think with each trade you have to decide BEFORE you make it how much you're willing to LOSE on it. If you're in a trade where you have a 500 PIP stop loss, isn't that what you planned on going in? If you didn't really want that 500 PIP stop, why ...

There was a thread started on this premise called Bobnannings Range Trading method. In my mind, it all boils down to what would constitute the best center line. There's a COG line. There's an ATR line. There's a Moving Average line. I suppose ...

My question would be how you could know it's going to keep trending. If you switch gears and go with the trend, how do you know it will not reverse at the very moment you go with the current trend? The main attraction for me is that this system bets ...

For any Democrats here, close your eyes. Their philosophy is that people are stupid, and need to be protected, and they are the protectors. If someone loses their home because they can't pay the loan they took out, it's not the persons fault. It's ...

Nanningbob also created an EA for the AUD/NZD and there's a thread for that. Was doing great until the spread went whacko, but seems to have settled down now. As I look it's back to where it was at 14, and I may start back trading that again.

OK, thanks, llambert. BTW, haven't had any trades with my settings for the past few days. Will give it another week or so to see if I have to tweak any of the distances. Today is slow anyway with most people getting the day off in the U.S.

You have to right click the EA, and click "modify". That brings you to the various settings. You want to change the "extern int iEntry" from 90 to whatever amount of pips away from center you want that particylar pair to trade at. In the case below ...

Charvo, I think some of these people should read the now closed "Kantor" thread to see what can and will happen when pairs trend heavily. Some are simply starting at too high an amount for the size of their account. When trading several pairs or ...

Charvo, I agree with you 100%. This is why I go further away from center than 90 PIPS. At .10 to start with and deep into a third level on a live account on two to four pairs late on a Thrursday afternoon, you can very well be down $1,000.00. Do you ...
