I placed in on a eurusd chart probably right after that time. I was just concerned that a position did not open after NFP as the pice action on the template looked suitable.

Marci, I have not been able to get Flyer to open any eurusd trades. I'm using the following set file. It works fine on gbpusd. A gbpusd trade opened just after NFP was released, but no trade on eurusd. There are no errors in the journal. I'm trading ...

Ok. I didn't care about cashing in that 20 points. I'm in for the bigger moves. I was just concered that it did not close the long position when it opened the second short and thought there might be an error there. And also that the short seemed to ...

These are the settings I'm using. Flyer finally did go short, but it never exited the long. It's now in both positions. Here's also a pic of what it did. Seems like the short entry is a couple bars late. Any help is appreciated. ...

Why no exit or reverse? — Flyer executed a gbpud long at 1.9686. Why didn't it exit when the magenta and yellow crossed and/or why did it not reverse positons when the white MAs crossed back over the red MAs. See the attached pic. Thanks.

I think you missed my question. Why is it even necessary to calculuate equity if its trading fixed lots and not using the money management routine?

Marci, Your v200 doc speaks to basically 4 MAs, 2 short term and 2 long term. I see those on the template as the 2 red MAs and 2 white MAs. But I also see a yellow and a magenta MA. Are those the MAs that exit a trade when price levels off? Thx

Yes, but is that even necessay if it's set on fixed lots and not using the MM routine?

Thanks, ET, I'll try that. I've changed FixedLots to 1. I'm wondering if LotValue really matters though since it's not using the MM routine.

Thx. I turned off MM, but kept the other defaults. The hedge is coming on too early. I have a .10 lot short on the eurusd at 1.3359, and a .30 lot long at 1.3363.

PAMM or LAMMs are associated with the broker you use. Several of them use the services of vendors to supply them with a LAMM/PAMM plugin. Metaquotes is building a LAMM, but last I heard the release date is a few months off. Interbank has a PAMM, ...
