Yup, you should have started out with a demo instead of a live account - trading without a strategy is not a good idea, it is akin to taking a shot in the dark and hoping you've hit that pesky badger..

Here's one way to get an explanation for what broker's discretion is all about - ask your broker and chances are each would come up with their own version on how to define what at the outset seems simple enough - LOL
