eyevoltage replied Feb 10, 2015You're quite right. I'm sure that most traders don't bother because this method IS very simple, and most people avoid it like the plague because they don't need to fill their charts with all sorts of indicators. This method has proved time and again ...

eyevoltage replied Feb 4, 201515m audjpy. Just finished a longish trade, but it was well worth waiting for. The ellipse shows a bullish candle followed by a Doji with a lower high, and in turn, followed by a bearish candle with a lower high. It just needed the break under the ...

eyevoltage replied Feb 4, 2015Where the Harami is concerned, the shadows are ignored and it's only the body of the candle that's taken into account.

eyevoltage replied Feb 4, 2015Nice one, brother. In actual fact, the candle you saw as a morning star, was, in fact, a Harami candle, where the previous candle's body has a higher high and a lower low. In this case, a nice reversal signal right on the pivot point.

eyevoltage replied Feb 3, 201515m gbpjpy..... Another beautiful potential trade. Yet another consolidation, this time forming a bullish flag. The breakout and the move up was simply stunning! Pity I wasn't around for it. Other duties, I'm afraid!

eyevoltage replied Feb 3, 2015A nice trade on the gbp/jpy. After all the confusion (in the circle), it was good to see a positive move up, breaching the mid-point level, and moving back up to the Main Pivot line. Entry and exit as shown.

eyevoltage replied Jan 13, 2015I use an 8 EMA and a 50 SMA. The 50 SMA is there to give me an idea of the trend and how strong it is. The 8 EMA is something that I copied off a video of Stephen Bigalow's. He calls it the T-Line, or Trigger-Line. You can see how close to the price ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 11, 201415m AUDJPY..... The one that got away. Price dropped right back to the Main Pivot line, and then retraced up to MR1 where a Dark Cloud Cover formed, inside a bearish flag pattern!! After that, price dropped all the way to S1, where there is now a ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 10, 201415m EURUSD........ Price punched through MR1, fell back, and tried again, but the move wasn't sustained. The oval shape highlights a bearish piercing candle (not a Dark Cloud Cover, which has to be at least two-thirds down the body of the previous ...

eyevoltage replied Sep 9, 201415m eurjpy... Once again, loads of uncertainty along the MR1 this time. A sideways wedge pattern formed, and it was then just a question of waiting for the break, which duly followed. Not a big trade, but always welcome, nevertheless!!

eyevoltage replied Sep 9, 201415m usdcad This trade was initiated by price coming down to MR1, and then adopting an "undecided" position for around an hour or so before heading northwards. Once again, I watched the first candle after the consolidation head up and close above the ...

eyevoltage replied Aug 20, 2014Shooting star, brother. A morning star and an evening star are patterns. A morning star (at the bottom) is preceded by a long bearish candle and followed by a long bullish candle. An evening star (at the top) is preceded by a long bullish candle and ...
