I appreciate your honesty. The broker doesn't care about negative reviews because when other brokers were caught with unfair practices they were still able to grow. When does PaulDaemon come to work? Do you guys work in shifts?

Good. Then it's time for the broker to find a proper excuse and stop talking about irrelevant topics.

They keep saying that they closed his position because it was "too big". I don't see a clear answer anywhere. Was his position within margin requirements or not?

Why you never answer to any question? Did he use the leverage allowed by the broker at the moment of opening the position or not?

It seems you have something in common with the broker mentioned in the news story above. In Europe a person is innocent until proven guilty, in your mind it's the opposite, not sure why. What negative balance? I thought we are talking about a 7.5k$ ...

Good observation. I'll use a simple concept known as proof by contradiction: In logic, proof by contradiction is a form of proof, and more specifically a form of indirect proof, that establishes the truth or validity of a proposition. It starts by ...

I would be very happy for that to be the case and if so in the following months we should see traders having positive results with their own levels. If that happens I'll redo my backtesting using reversal tick charts. Until then good luck everyone. ...

Since I am using more reversal/range/p&f charts including footprint charts I confirm you are right and I paid attention to this aspect as well.

It can't be since this situation of pre-testing a level and not appearing on a 15 min candle doesn't happen very often. And even though there is a previous reaction the level still works many times. Actually I said what I had to say and my work is ...

You are right but why didn't the broker close the trade on Friday to avoid this problem? The broker had this choice. Why wait for weekend when the market will be closed anyway? Wasn't the risk manager at work? Was it a mistake? There should be no ...

You are right. I used closed candles. Let's assume a 5% more wins for this detail. It wouldn't go beyond 60% winners with a 1:1 RR. In backtesting I ignored the bid/ask spread but in live trading we pay more than 10% for the total cost of a trade if ...

If market sentiment and other subjective things account for such a big edge then market profile is not needed. The questions remains, how can one find levels with good accuracy? How do we know the proper level for a consistent edge is not 3 pips or ...

I did but I used only 15 minutes charts. It's true that the results would have been a little bit more accurate with 1 min charts. My focus was on the edge, if it's real and what is it. If an edge is present it should show itself disregarding various ...

That's correct. It's one of the hypothesis I tested, using previous high volume areas. Another hypothesis is the one described by XxixixX, where you choose previous beginnings of strong moves. They both give you the illusion of a good system. ...
