Hi, Many thanks but I can't open it as I am not on the metatrader platform - that is why I wondered if the code for the indicator could be copied into a text file. No worries and thanks anyway,

Hi Parviz, Your work sounds interesting and I'd be interested in taking a look at the indicator in action. My platform is ProRealTime which uses ProBuilder for coding indicators. I am not a programmer, but if you are able to kindly provide your code ...

OFF TOPIC - APOLOGIES Hey Caledonia, If you would like some guidance on how to work out where the market is going then there is no substitute for learning how to actually read charts. Al Brooks has written some excellent material which is heavy ...

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying. Your 1,2,3,4,5 pattern is no Wolfe Wave setup so I presume it's some other sort of price action entry? Please would you explain so I can understand? Thanks

FTSE H4 I would think that this WW is very much in play now as we have had a strong first leg of selling. I would expect a second leg down after a correction image

Hi and welcome. I don't use the indicator or the template, but taking a guess, the 'too strong up' would mean that the momentum up is too strong to be thinking about going short - at least for the time being. Would that make sense? I'm sure one of ...

Yes, the lines are not converging you are correct. Point 4 in this case it above point 2 and therefore I accept that this is not a standard wave. Apart from the fact that the SPTRD (US500) was selling off at the time, the context was good for a ...

Hi fantom, At the very start of this thread, Expo has very thoughtfully included a download link for the Wolfe Wave book. It really is worth a read.

Mate, we are talking at cross-purposes. Like I said, it's all about perspective and timeframe. What I am suggesting is using the lower time frame Wolfe Wave set up to enter the larger trend which can be expected to continue (since most reversal ...

Hey, Fair enough. The way you view the market is no doubt useful to you and that's great. For me there are many ways to view situations. For example, as a trend trader you would bet on most attempts to reverse the trend being unsuccessful. Therefore ...

I think you have completely missed the point of what I am saying. If it was not clear, then my apologies. The way many traders enter trends is by waiting for a pullback - agreed? By definition, a pullback is a smaller trend in the opposite direction ...

FTSE (UKX) H1 (also visible on H4) - I would be very wary of this and would want to see some very strong selling before entering as this is very much countertrend.

Hi, I was giving this some thought over the weekend and I don't think that it is entirely true that it is purely a countertrend pattern. I suppose it depends on one's perspective. For instance, suppose we have a broad bull channel on, say, the H4 ...
