Impressive Dave. Your posts are always very informative. I hope you don't mind answering a couple of questions for me. 1. You say you take the trades off the m15 or H1 but follow on to say you exit trades on any M15 HAS colour change. Does this mean ...

There is another way in the EA also. There is a setting called "Market Read" Set it to true. With the EA on a chart double click the Market Read text on your screen and drag it. First it will switch to "Long", do it again and it will switch to ...

Just to be clear WideEyed the HAS IS the main indicator for this thread set up specifically for basket trading. The The blue/red MA type line you see on all the charts is the HAS (heiken ashi smoothed). The system is based on colour changes of this. ...

Ha, thought you might think that was targeted at you TJ, it wasn't. I picked up enough from the pic of your trade window. It was just bad timing yours was the last post before I got up this morning and made mine.

Hi Guys, Learners like me glean a lot from studying other peoples trades. It's great that everyone posts their trades up but it would be great if a little bit more detail could be posted with each. Most people only post the direction (buy/Sell) and ...

Actually change of plans after reading this. I'm too close to that trendline to cover my spread if it bounces.
I'll wait off to see what the H4 PA does.Still Basketting

Well got out with 50+ pips after my EA didn't trigger the BE for some reason and a lot of oscillating between BE and 75+. I'll look at getting back in after the Frankfurt/London open.

I started watching it last week around market open times. Especially if the M15 or H1 is teetering on their HAS.

Took the M5 sell signal shortly after the Tokyo open. Hit it's BE quickly and is presently sitting at 130+ after a small retrace. Going to manage it on M15 now. I love BE. Being on market open it could very well be a kneejerk start to the week but ...

Well after a week of trading I've had my first 1000+ pip trade! When I left for work this morning 1070 pips were locked in and PA was sitting about 100 pips above that.
The trade was based on the M15 signal after the H4 HAS bounce. Manual entry ...Still Basketting

Nice work Kos. If you don't mind me asking was your bounce trade (red down arrow) based off a lower time frame sell signal? I see there was one on the M5 but the one on the M15 came quite late with my settings. Cheers, Dud

Yeah that's what I do. The only one I haven't tested is the BE lock profit. If it's zero I'd like to know if it moves the stop to a true break even.

It's pretty basic. The BE is the level of pips when the "BE lock profit" is triggered. Which is kind of funny because if you lock a profit it's not really a break even is it.

So if you have a 150 pip BE setting and a 20 pip break even you ...Still Basketting

Well the H1 isn't exactly soaring like the previous H4 HAS bounces. Maybe the H1 is just a retest. I'm holding out going long until I get the H1 signal. Otherwise I'll go short on the H1 HAS bounce/retest using an M15 signal. I feel like I might be ...

Thanks Mpp, I'll change my settings. Might try to track down the indicator too. That spread calculation would be helpful.

Hi Myff, Maybe I was wrong in saying it was a simplified version of MPTM. I've only ever read the .pdf for MPTM and thought it seemed to have a lot more settings than the the MPBM I'm currently using. I've never actually used MPTM and only used the ...

Yeah I'm going to set up GVc's (T101s?) EA tonight to check it out. There is a simplified version of MPTM specifically for basketting called MPBM (see attached). This is what I've been using for trade management and have found it quite straight ...
