Be careful with the GBP and JPY pairs .. they have tendency to move quite a bit in one direction which is not good in this strategy.

I believe (not 100%) the contained DD Martingale was a strategy based on hedging the trades to avoid increased losses if price goes in one direction for extended period of time. This can't be done if you are on a USA broker however.
