You could try NinjaTrader, not a MT4 add-on though. I have used it for a while and it's pretty powerful. I have, however, not yet gotten down to achieving any level of sophistication with it. Cheers, dkc

Thank you, Mike!
Phew, that's about as much MM as my few-bit-processor can accommodate. The other stuff appears... demanding. Gotta say though, the many aspects of forex, you have to love them. Peel off a shell and discover yet another brush to ...james16 Chart Thread

Just found another formula from diallist: True Leverage = Position Size / Account Size That would be 2,700,000 / 100,000 = 27 , right? Which in turn would be awfully high? Oh damn, I had hoped not having to worry about this since I'd leave the risk ...

Thanks Hunzul!
Now, I came across diallist's True Leverage formula some time ago. If I shamelessly plug in the numbers the result seems to indicate I cocked this up: (LotSize * %Risk) / (StopSize * PipValue) = True Leverage (2,700,000 * 1%) / (30 ...james16 Chart Thread

Margin Requirement — How do you guys manage to be in more than one trade at a time? Say you decide on a 30 pip SL with 1% risk. When I try to put on such a trade (see pic below), the "margin used" is close to the full account size. The SL ...

Don't worry about your method too much right now, imo. I don't know anything about your trading expertise, goals etc., but I think most people are best off trying to figure stuff out without pressure & analyze charts of their own. In my experience, ...

Jarroo, about the gold chart's LCS. I found this here: Does this apply here, just that it's "the lower of the two" (support), not higher (resistance)? So a monday bar's Open, if it gaps, can be used as the friday's Close? This is way over my head ...

Did I get it now? The overall picture, at least, looks much better to me now without those protruding bars...

Jarroo, you got me wrong. I was not trading on the M15. I was taking a daily BEOB. It went the anticipated direction first, then started to reverse. After crawling up more and more I went to M15 to look what was going on. The indicated non-PB just ...
