Yes I use an indicator to keep them on my charts but I use prorealtime for charting. If you use prorealtime send me a PM and I can paste you the code for it, you'll have to update the session times for daylight savings etc but other then that it ...

I'm posting this chart as an example of some range trades that I was discussing with a thread member. On these particular trades you would have been stopped out at BE or a slight loss, depending upon trade management. The dashed lines are session ...

Also make sure you consider the time that the candle occurs at -- 15M a flat top at the 1H turn (closes on the hour) has a lot more weight to it then a flat top that closes during the other three 15M closing times, because (assuming it made a higher ...

Yeah, they don't want to miss an entry. I think that really kills people's performance. New traders often have the misconception that in order to get a good return, you need to hit every move. I know that's exactly the way I used to think. But it's ...

Just some thoughts on flash cards etc: I think some people have a tendency to be pretty lax in their trading rules. So they'll make a flash card for a 15M hammer, and then start taking every 15M hammer they see. (I'm not saying the hammer is a bad ...

I think a lot of people underestimate the importance of all the homework that is necessary to learn this system. Everyone needs to find the handful of setups that work well for them, and ignore the others until you have mastered your main setups-- ...

Speaking of shorting up the wick, here's USD/CAD 4H chart. If you check the 15M you can see where the working 4H candle showed rejection at.. on these trades, if I can't find a good entry spot on the 15M I'll just wait for a close back across the ...

Yeah if you look at the chart alongside a smaller tf chart you can almost see all the traders taking their shorts off the wick of that first controller pin. Shorts up the wick seem to work incredibly well across all time frames, especially when you ...

Here's another chart based on the principles that we talk about in this thread-- prior price action, significant levels, and swings/highs/lows. It's a 15m chart, to read the text you'll need to double click on the image and zoom in (so that it opens ...

We talked a little bit lately in this thread about posting more entries from the system. GU give a textbook system entry last night during Asia---- the daily candle closed as a bearish hangman below 1.6, the high of the candle was the high of the ...

As you said, this is one of those things that everyone does differently. I think what you really want from everyone is a two part answer: 1) How do they personally manage their trades, and 2) What do they think is the best way for a trader to go ...

One thing that you have to keep in mind is that the PDFs are just some cliff's notes, with a few potential entry ideas. For example the 1/5 o'clock trades don't help you unless you have an eye for the correct time/area to take them in, same thing ...

I've been enjoying those fake breakouts lately. I've noticed that more often then not they give very obvious signals. Here's a few thoughts on that particular trade (the Jan 11th A/U fake breakout): Here's my 4H chart (GMT), that line at 0.9823 has ...

Got asked about this trade so posting the chart.. the 4H gave a pin in a key area for A/U (clearly visible on the daily or a zoomed out 4H) so you look for a short up the wick of the pin, 15M shows entry.
