50% retrace of the large downmove takes us up right to resistance at .84, not to mention TDI turned up and we have what looks like a nice formed bottom. See attached chart. (don't mind the fib being upside down, 50% is what I'm looking at) image

Finally the GJ I know and love is back. The past 2 days we've had a 60/70 pip range. Today is only 100, but it's actually moving up and down and not sideways

Money never sleeps, unfortunately I do. Institutions have offices worldwide, so they are always active. I use FX as an ATM. I try not to over trade, I stick to my goals and just call it a day, because otherwise, I'd be here all hours.

Well I don't trade silver/gold, and if I did it probably wouldn't be at this hour. But if that happened during an active market, I'm not sure. It's not really how I trade, but if I was able to watch it and notice that more times than not it recovers ...

Could it not just be illiquid. Someone hits the bid, which shows the open low, and then it gets bought showing the gap down to recovery candle.
