I agree that looks confusing and for me I was anticipating a downmove after we printed a ND on the 9:55am est bar coming into that 8:45am est highest vol upthrust bar, but I think the thing to look at is that long up bar before the one you pointed ...

Thanks, good explanation. I sometimes get trapped in the feeling a high volume upthrust is a definate selling signal.

When you say test, what would a test be for a short setup? A ND I know, but when you say test do you mean an upthrust with lower vol into a trigger area? edit or higher vol UT into trigger?

would you take a trade on just the break of the past three upthrusts, or would you need to see more confirmation? Like a ND or a lower vol upthrust into the previous ones like you mentioned yesterday?

Do you feel as if profiles should be looked at in multiple start times? Starting to do this more, sometimes I feel it throws me off, but as your post above could show when done right it shows the true direction of the market.

I show 6202 for my POC (volume based), but thats for Pound futures. One question for profiles do you guys use 6pm as start of your profiles? I do but just seeing if anyone else does it different, sure others do.

HG do you have any specific post references that really outline your trigger ideas? I've been searching through all of your postings here and just picking up small bits here and there. Don't know if you have one post where you outlined it all in ...
