With due respect, being registered in Panama is in no way legitimate. They even claimed to have a license? Very funny

Thanks for the good laugh
HYIPs claim to trade and invest, but in reality they are just Ponzi schemes. No trading ever goes on in these schemes. New investor deposits pay out older investors until the supply of cash runs out and it collapses.Which brokers guarantees stops during news

Why are you comparing prices from ECN and Market Maker? FXPro is not an ECN so of course it will not be the same.

Yes it should work. Use the DLLs from 64bit WIN7 if you can. Not sure if the 32bit ones will do for you. WINE 1.3.6 on 32 bit Sabayon Linux The DLLs were pulled from a WINXP SP3 install. Not sure what versions they are. 1) Works for me so I don't ...

Sure they can see you are running an EA, and in some cases, the name and version of the EA. The point was whether they can steal the EA code or not though.
Can MT4 Brokers see your EA/Indi
- oakmonster replied Nov 10, 2010
Since EA code is run client side, how can a broker see the code without hacking into your PC? They can probably work out the strategy, but stealing the actual code falls into conspiracy theory territory

I tried the FXCM demo myself. Very basic program with a line chart of sorts. I think we will have to wait a while for a real android based platform to arrive. Perhaps when the next version of Android comes out and the tablets get a following.

A broker can tell if you are using an EA, but they can't steal the code as it runs client side, not server side. They could in theory study the EA behaviour and make a strategy against it but in reality that would be pointless since most EAs fail ...

Yes it is fully functional. Make sure you have the mfcxx.dll dlls copied to the right place and it should be fine. I used dlls from a winxp installation since I have 32bit linux installed if that helps. Linux is more productive. Less popups from ...
Good Broker for a linux user?

Yup Oanda, and also FXCM. Their platforms are a bit sparse and not at all intuitive though. Like most mobile platforms, they are only useful for checking your account while out and perhaps taking profit. Not for general trading use!

Well Oanda is a market maker/bucketshop so of course they will fill. Looks like in your case, Dukascopy has more available liquidity available than FXCM being a full ECN.

There is not a clause somewhere that states my ECN can trade against me. However they do admit that their employees, or anyone else trading who may be associated with the company might be the counterparty in a trade. (broker name removed

Because a bad broker will do everything in it's power to stop you being profitable. Only applicable to dealing desks though.
who is really using interbankfx here?

The Market Maker model is dead. ECN is the way to go these days. Gain/forex.com has always seemed sus to me from the beginning so I never opened a live account with them. I guess my intuition was correct eh?

I should hope so. Demo accounts are not based on real money. If broker's live 100% matches the demo, it doesn't take too much brain matter to assume that the live account is also a bucketshop demo.

As far as I can tell this is not actually a bank at all. Just a badly set up bucketshop. They even have a link to the site where they purchased a "turnkey solution" that promises to set you up as a broker within a week.
