eyevoltage replied Apr 29, 2015On my screen, it's still in the Flag pattern, but hasn't broken out as yet. Plus, on my chart, everything's happening around R1/R2 Midpoint.

eyevoltage replied Apr 29, 2015Hi turnip. Long time no see! No, I don't use IG index. I'm with FXCM. I guess I could use a buy stop if I wanted to, but seeing as I'm at the computer all the time, and keeping an eye on things, I prefer to keep a "hands on" approach.

eyevoltage replied Apr 29, 2015I don't use a broker, fxn. I use a spread-betting firm. And the charts are MT4, which you can find all over the net.

eyevoltage replied Apr 28, 2015Let's just say that price will sometimes ignore Pivot lines and/or ignore Psych lines. On the other hand, price will sometimes react to Pivot lines and/or react to Psych lines. It's a lottery, mate. One just never knows! That's the way I look at it, ...

eyevoltage replied Apr 27, 2015I also came to that conclusion some time ago. Hence, Fibs don't figure on my charts at all, except when I get a little curious about a particular situation. However, that doesn't happen very often.

eyevoltage replied Apr 27, 2015Morning, folks. This would have been a lovely trade, but I missed it. 5m GJ forming a little double top just above the mid-point level. A nice little punt on that one would have yielded around 30 pips or so.

eyevoltage replied Apr 25, 2015I just use regular pivot points purely and simple because they've mostly done the business for me down the years. I've tried using various indicators as well, (including Fibonacci pivots) but decided in the end to just follow acumen's examples. He ...
