On FXDD which closes 1 hour earlier than Alpari we have 2 4hourly bars showing short, I think alpari bars will follow soon.

Daily SAR confirmed, now what is the entry level? Do we enter at close of the confirmed bar or do we wait for 4hr SAR to switch over to long and back to short?

That is correct, weekly and daily were aligned on the 13th Dec, so entry based on daily psar should have been on the 13th

Daily bars normally close at 10pm or 11pm GMT (UK time at present) which correspond with 5pm or 6pm EST; trades should be place near close of the bar or at close of the bar. I place my orders between 9 and 10pm GMT that is between 4 and 5pm EST and ...

Thanks Terry On my chart it is the 3rd consecutive which would be the 1st entry. Different brokers, of course it is without Sunday bar so I have used the settings of your accuchart.

Well you have not mentioned so far what it is, how it works, and on what basis you enter a trade. You have not posted any indicators or any system. So please let us name it whatever way we like it. For me any target below 100 pips is scalping.

A note to those who want to back test this system or any variation thereof using an EA. MT4 backtesting is flawed you cannot rely on it, any backtesting should be done manually. However you can use an EA to trade for you.
