For those that are live, and have been stopped, this post isn't intended to rub salt in the wound. For anyone considering going live, these sort of stops are what you need to be wary of and plan for. Maybe move further from center. Maybe go a real ...

I'm with you. I just came across this thread, so I know very little about it. Was/is there another thread that discusses it in more detail?

I haven't run the EA this week. Fortunately so, as the EUR/CHF went crazy as well as some other pairs in the last few days. Will wait till things settle down a bit. The world is topsy turvy right now.

Happy to report that the EA opened one trade while I was asleep, at 12:00 IBFX time, and it was a winner for 13 pips after the 15 trail stop hit. Good to know that the EA works without a problem, and nice to start off with a winner. Planning my ...

What!??? A loss?? It was something like 7 and 0, and not more than an hour after I come on board, a LOSS? I must have jinxed it. I better move on to an EA that never loses. OOPS. I forgot. It loses as soon as I get there!

Someone said "it was working", and I went to check to see if it opened any trades on MY account, and none made. It's been a whole 30 minutes, and NO trades. My EA must be broken. Dan, if I sent you my settings, and my history file, and my life ...

It might be nice if MBT gets the MT4 working for live accounts. Their spreads are good. I wouldn't hold my breath with them, though. They work at the pace of a snail. My question would be what good is this EA with them if you have to manually input ...

Recently came across this thread and see the EA is working like a charm. Am trying it on demo from 0 to 23 hours (I need an hours rest), and with a take profit of 100. BUT...No trades after 15 minutes? Anyone know what might be wrong with my EA? ...

I and a few others asked Knoxy to run some tests on various settings & he is still working on them. The time frames are shown on the ones done so far. We do need to know how far away from center. Knoxy has a full time job and probably can't conclude ...

There's another thread that discusses the 100X80 EA and method. That EA doubles the amount of each successive trade, .02, .04., 08, and the fourth trade is for .16. If you had a 60X90 EA trade going starting at .01, and it was past the third level, ...

White, how many nanoseconds do you think it would have taken them to wipe a profit off your account if the spike was in your favor? And, I bet you wouldn't even have to call them to request it.

I see some are in trouble with the gbp/usd. I don't trade this pair, except for when it gets 250 away from center as a scalp trade. But, for some of the newer people, here's a chart showing how entering at a further distance away can keep you from ...

Has anyone here thought of, or explored the possibility of using the 100X80 EA only short or long when the pair is 90 PIPS from center? Or maybe even using the same EA when the pair is even further away than that, like 110, 120, 130 depending on the ...

nutsford, I agree. That's why I exclude GBP/USD and GBP/JPY. However, I get an alert when cable is 250 from center, as it was awhile ago, and I make a decision as to whether or not to make a single trade or an EA trade.

knoxy, thanks for the info, as I think reports on possible or even probable disaster scenarios are far more important than only the good news. Nanningbob has said that bact testing is unreliable for a number of reasons. One reason is turning the EA ...

A great solution, and I agree with you about RR. This way, the purists who want no talk of EAs can pay attention only to the other thread. I'll be visiting both, because I believe EAs can work and work well if properly programmed.

Richards, I don't believe that will happen as it was already talked about before and I think a new thread will be started when an EA becomes available. Personally, I like EAs and use a very successful one. EAs are no more than computer programs, and ...
