Ok, so for the Daily, 4hr, and 1hr do we place the stop on the other side of the kumo still? If so, when do we switch to trailing by the Ks. Or should the stop be the Ks for the longer term trades?

Would you still move stop to breakeven after 20 pips for the 1hr, 4hr, and Daily trades?

It's my own version - I didn't realise one existed until I had already done most of it. Sure, PM me and I'll send you a copy but I think lionsden or sinner has the original. I have it setup for how I want alerts, which is every TS/KS cross, which ...

DealBook hgas some dodgy settings for Ichi like 7, 42, 56 or something like that, it needs to be 9,26,52. Ask their customer services if you can't change it but right click over a chart and go to properties, then symbols and ichi

Well, I picked up 19 pips from the 5min trade. I agree on that resistance line (easily seen on the 4hr chart). Will keep my eye on that as 4hr TS/KS has just crossed upwards. The kumo on the daily is bullish isn't it? image

Slow mover but a buy on the 5min EURGBP? Or would we like to see the resistance point A cleared? image

Short on the 1hr USDChf? or await crosses on the lower timeframes, which all show possible entries at the next TS/KS cross: image

The Daily trend is neutral, the 4hr trend is UP. Not too sure about a short on the 1hr though I see your reasoning...a bounce off the kumo. Warriors?

Sure, but to be honest, I think sinner might have done one already or maybe it was lionsden on post url I need to make some final changes to the alerts but I've set it up how I like it, which might not be for you

Looks good. How do you measure your over-boughtness or oversold? Just based on price action over past weeks/months or are you using stochs and/or bollingers to guide?

Ok - howabout SGDJPY - it is a slightly slower moving pair than most but is very gradual like the USDJPY. I am still in a 1hr short trade from last week at +84 pips but there look to be some possible setups coming. Daily: bearish 4hr: bearish 1hr: ...

Question here: If daily is bullish but 4hr is bearish, what would you then look for in the lower timeframes? Or...do we only go as far down the timeframes if they all agree. For example: Daily Bullish 4hr bearish, we stop here and wait for 4hr ...

Hi Vic So, no targets on the lower timeframes? We are now just closing the trade out when the price hits the Ks again (where our stop would be) ? Personally, my feeling is that this is a good tactic on any timeframe but I'm not sure how effective it ...

Hmm - I'll try... Daily: Bearish as price is below cloud but it looks like consolidation. Chikou span is just touching price and both the TS and KS have been failry flat for over 3 weeks now. 4hr: Same, awaiting a cross. 1hr: Possible entry but we ...

WHat about this one on the 1hr EURCAD? Daily is not below the cloud but it is IN the kumo and has a double top. 4hr is NOT bearish. Does the Chikou span have to be below the cloud as well or just the price span? DAILY: NEUTRAL but double top shows ...

I didn't think we'd talked about ATR anywhere. 50 pips off EURJPY seems about 30% of the Daily ATR but as we move up through timeframes we get to the stage where Daily, 4hr, and 1 hr do not have any targets ...Ichimoku forever

Fair enough but for every USDJPY strong trend, there are pairs, which move on massive trends but never have a TS/KS cross again until the trend reverses so you miss the entire thing. Look at EURUSD below: image image I do think on the longer ...

Interesting. If you say you use these rules: * Trade only Tokyo hours. * TS <> KS * Open <> Chinkou * Price <> M15 and H1 and H4 senkou A * Bar range/ATR > 50% How have you told the EA not to enter multiple trades or as soon as a trade is closed if ...
