TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009General comment PA speculation — Given the bank holiday, we could also bounce like a ping-pong ball between the channel and the lower fibs.

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009Indi of Miss Pips — When Miss Pips arrives here, I want her to look at this picture. This is how the range was forming using her version of the indicator. It doesn't look right. Then after it finished drawing, I switched TF's and everything ...

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009OK, got it, thanks. I tried that combo earlier but got nothing. It is just now starting to paint the area - ahead of PA. This makes me think that for some reason it won't let you draw in the area on the chart for the previous day.

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009You are better off spending your time on strengthening your psyche. Mental errors are the traders biggest enemy, not lack of the "right" indicators. If doblece wasn't so busy I would ask her to expand on that...but she has done so before. Spend some ...

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009I don't think so. Individual banks may decide, but it is not an "official" holiday.

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009Looking for cheap stocks is a matter of perception. The perceived future is what matters. If, for instance, European investors see a bright future in U.S. equities in the coming months or year and their own equities will lag to a later improvement, ...

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009I think you are not the only one. I see a problem with this eventually for the following reason (please note I am not a "fundamentalist"): Assuming the US economy leads the world out of recession, the U.S. stock market will be the first to look ...

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009That's really great. Thanks Gail. I can't seem to adjust the time right. I am GMT +1, so my 2 hour range straddles my midnight, so the indi doesn't draw correctly. How do I set time functions for a 23:00 start and a 01:00 end? I have tried different ...

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009I have never seen that. It may be due to the other indicator you are using. I am not a programmer so I'm not sure of the root cause.

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009You mean about 22:00 to 24:00 GMT ranges? That's too easy. But if it works, why not?

TradeWell replied Apr 9, 2009Scott, I had a different interpretation of the range to use, so ended up with different fibs than your last chart. However, in both cases PA reached a key level. I guess that is the "art" here: how to set what the "core range" is.

TradeWell replied Apr 8, 2009One thing I noticed is that once you have entered the high and low, you can change them by drag and drop, but if you switch TF it goes back to those original entry values. No biggie, can manually change them. Just an observation (hint hint).
