The correlation of commodities vs EUR/USD has become much lower than it used to be... As well as equities vs. EUR... So you need to look for some other correlation for the single currency.. I am watching CHF/JPY for the last couple of months.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to give any names of brokers here but search on google, best ones are in UK and Switzerland. Look for a broker which offers ECN service, I have during London 0.4-0.5 spread even with news no higher than 4-5 pips...
