You shorted above the kumo? EURJPY: Daily neutral, price is in the kumo H4, neutral, price is in the kumo, H1: UP M30: UP M15 neutral I don't think that is a good time for a short.

Yes, but all the signals work together to create an overall signal. The method described here really only takes the strongest of signals, which means all have to line up: Ts/Ks crosses Price below the cloud for SELLs, price above the cloud for BUYs ...

Finally some normal movement +pips on USDCHF, +pips on USDCAD, looking like reclaiming some on USDJPY.Ichimoku forever

Out of interest, do any of you usually have trades open at the start of NY? The price went pretty wild for 90mins or so on all pairs.

That's fine, I was just making the point that the stop had to be somewhere.
When do you decide it's time to close the trade, is it 10 pips past the kumo, 20 pips past the kumo. What if it went 60 pips past the kumo but you had 30mins left before ...Ichimoku forever

No, the stop above the 1hr UJ kumo - stopped out at -70. You mentioned wait for the close but traders would have to be very brave to see price go 15 pips above the kumo and still hold onto the trade.

The price went 15pips above the kumo. I think most would be pretty brave to hold onto a trade like that
. Most put the stop 10pips above the kumo don't they? This was also above the 4hr Ks. I may re-enter UJ but I think the stop out was correct.Ichimoku forever

It was a suggestion that the trade should be moved to breakeven on the JPY pairs after 20 pips when going for 50pips targets - what do you suggest on some of the lower ADR pairs like USDCHF...10pips? Seems a bit close.

For the 5min trades and smaller timeframes, does anyone move their stop along with kumo even if the trade is not yet in profit? eg if you entered at the circle, you could trail the stop lower and lower and then lose less if the trade turns the other ...
