European. For American, besides extra zero pockets the arrangement is different with worse odds. It has to be probabilistic, not deterministic.

Viktor, trading has been an intellectual challenge for me besides the vast unbridled opportunity it offers. My aim is to build a quantified terrain that "randomness" operate - a market ecosystem. Don't take it as a claim, just to give some clarity ...

Same here. To me, the hardest part of trading is wasting the time. I use the word waste because if it's not giving comparable returns per hour, it make no sense to trade. Might as well invest instead. Cheers

Viktor, reading your posts about trading in general, out of curiosity I have one question if you care to enlighten me, Do you plan to trade forex/futures at a significant level, a more serious activity? It's ok if you don't reply. Cheers

I read you started a journal. I suggest pattern traders to participate in your thread. Learn from each other. I learnt from everyone. I notice some people chose whom to learn from. Cheers

May I suggest we move the discussion to scalping. Invite profitfarmer(you or volunteer hosts his posts), RickM and Ryan to participate as well. Let's discuss scalping.

Reading this forum tells about the preset expectation that members impose unknowingly on what to post and what not to post. I mentioned it earlier, taboo topics. So, it becomes difficult to decide how to write, between telling it as it is, or to ...

How to define tactics if we can't see through the complexity? By tactics, we must already assume knowledge of the adversary. That's why I wrote earlier, behind the tactic is the assumption. Check the assumption. It's more complex than that. We're ...

FWR, correct. This complexity cause blindness. Understanding complexity is the real starting point. Else traders are caught in a vicious cycle without realising it. Cheers

Blindness is the first hurdle. Lack of ability to think tactically is the 2nd hurdle. Both are equal huge reasons why traders fail. On FF I wrote about the former only. Cheers

FWR, bingo ! That's why I've never posted about how to trade ever on FF, 1835 posts. It's meaningless. And it's not easy to explain this important thinking aspect clearly on forum format. It's too big a responsibility of potential harm if done ...
