Embry1 replied Jul 18, 2017Just testing the Open Basket button for the Tokyo open, opened basket around 00:15 when the trends started, 30 minutes for 100 pips I'll take it. Thanks Xmess for adding that button, makes life a lot easier.

Embry1 replied Jul 18, 2017Consistency is key! Have a pretty darn good system going. Doing my news baskets plus xmess strat on Monday and Tuesday seem to be doing the trick. Here are my three baskets for the day. Only thing I may change is my profit lock, I think I gave up ...

Embry1 replied Jul 17, 2017Pretty shaky, probably some luck involved in today's profit. Definitely seemed like the kind of day that would turn against the baskets. First news basket was actually set on the tokyo session news last night and basket was run until morning to lock ...

Embry1 replied Jul 14, 2017Thanks for throwing the Open Basket button on there already, will make it easy for unplanned or speaker news.

Embry1 replied Jul 14, 2017Yeah I have 1 more filtered US basket still running with no TP just a profit lock, going to see how far it goes with just 4 pairs. Just remember not to do any news past 13:30 GMT, typically the strongest moves are before that time.

Embry1 replied Jul 14, 2017Wow, should have expected a strong move with 4 releases for US. Testing the 37.7.8 Also so I put both baskets in the same frame. Results in 15 minutes today, I'm totally down for a 15 minute work day.

Embry1 replied Jul 13, 2017I don't open my basket for speaker news, just data releases. However once the OpenBasket button is released you can use it for speaker news if you time it right. Basket is 60 TT L1 1/2 every time. Also the S/L and T/P are completely depending upon ...

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017That would be interesting, it's definitely not too tedious to filter the news manually, you just have to do it ahead of time. The OpenBasket button will make my life a little easier, thanks for the hard work on that.

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017I open the news basket 1 minute after release at the moment, I think I saw where you were adding a Open Basket button to the newest release if I'm not mistaking. If that's the case, I would open the basket maybe 30 seconds sooner just depending on ...

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 20171/2 is the Fast/Slow setting on the CCFp indicator. And yes if for example if it's GBP news I will filter for just GBP pairs for the lowest drawdown, it works with all 28 pairs but you may have more drawdown.

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017I'll grab that, still trying to make my screens look decent. But hey I'm making money
I'm setting the time frame on the indicator to 60 so it takes the immediate trend. The 60 TT L1 1/2 basket after red news is by far my best basket, only ...CCFp weekly signals (set and forget basket trading)

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017One more for USD Crude Oil, much slower because of the time of release, still banked decent profit for only 4 pairs.

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017Good question, the GBP news was on live and I set my basket for 1 minute after news. Broker is FXChoice, very little slippage.

Embry1 replied Jul 12, 2017Filtered news baskets are really doing well, opened a 60 TT L1 1/2 basket for the GBP news at 8:30 GMT and hit the 100 pip profit target within a few minutes. This time opened a basket for the CAD news at 14:00 GMT. Here are the results:

Embry1 replied Jul 7, 2017I am actually a fan of the GBP news at 8:30 GMT. I try not to run a daily or weekly CCFp if there is a 8:30 GMT red news, instead I run my 60 min TT charts and they work well! Results from today:

Embry1 replied Jun 21, 2017I have shortened the TP and profit lock steps for my daily baskets. Ran two 60 minute TT for the GBP news at 8:30 GMT. 6/6 Green baskets, nice day. I have a new trade explorer for just these baskets in my signature if you want to follow the trades.

Embry1 replied Jun 18, 2017I haven't found a good setting for the Tokyo open yet. Only success I've had was filtering either AUD, NZD, or JPY news on a 60 minute TT chart during the Tokyo session on news for some momentum. I may test a 60 TF 3/5 this week for Tokyo.

Embry1 replied Jun 18, 2017I set everything 1 minute after news release to determine the direction of the trend. I'm using FXChoice and the spreads really don't get affected too much, there may be slightly higher spreads for a few seconds after a release but it's completely ...

Embry1 replied Jun 16, 2017Has been an insanely good week for me on my demo. Opened these 4 baskets every day this week, 4/5 days were profitable totaling close to 2000 pips from just 4 baskets. I also have opened a 60 minute time frame TT 3/5 L1 basket for every red news ...

Embry1 replied Jun 14, 2017These settings work consistently with big trend news like today. I started 3 minutes too late and missed some big pips, but you can surely let this run on such a big trend. Here are the results so far: I will also run this 1 minute after FOMC.
