I'd like to point out that, many times, losses occured even if the system is being followed perfectly. That's just how it is in this business. Losses are a part of the system.

True, pips is profit but not all profits are good profits. Someone who made 10000 pips a year which is equal to 10% profit, is making a bad profit. You can get 10% easily from other investment with much lower risk.

Thanks jacko and smjones for the chart. That reversal pattern reminds me of the reversal described by Jesse Livermore. When the trend reverse, wait for confirmation (confirmation occured in March 2006)

The reason I'm using this EMA is because it gives me the "sign" of unusual buy/sell. When 3 crosses 7 in a "strong way".. it means something.

That makes sense. But that doesn't guarantees that we will not experience more than 6 losers in a row, right ? If we do 128 strings of 6 trades .. we may have 12 losers in a row, etc etc .... The question is, will our equity survive that 12/24/36 ...
