You can flatten like this: click on the "price area" (where prices are shown). Its color will change, it shows that it is activated, and you can flatten with mouse up/down moving. Now I have to go, but here are the Auto-levels today:

Hey Max, 12 seconds and 24 ticks are pretty similar (generally there are 1-3 ticks/second), no special benefit. I did try it and use it. You can use the 12 sec if it is better for you. The essence: not too fast, not too slow. Optimal for controlling ...

I don't know exactly, but think it is independent from the timeframe. It should come from the values of the previous day. I get them from the ScalperChart automatically (without any adjustment).
