I am not sure what you mean by "technical don't count for much" My statement certainly wasn't meant as a prediction but a 'consideration' in trying to decipher the real reason behind this latest move down, and none of my money is vested in this pair ...

Agree, predicting the future is futile at best, managing the present is the best defense against an uncertain future. I entered short at the right time but as usual got frustrated after a few days and bailed out after a whopping 11 green pips only ...
