This alone doesn't hurt retail trader right ? But it makes more money for the broker. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No no.. those numbers are just example. The idea is to focus on actual profit made, not on pips. There are methods where you don't make many pips..but the profit is very good.

I don't know how good are the indicators, but I'm sure trendlines and S/R works. Learn to use them.

LOL. Many people refuse to believe that trend-following works and they believe money making can't be that easy. Perhaps they are trading not for profit but to feel good by inventing something that "may" work and different from everyone else.

Should I just say "shit happens" LOL. If you get that spike too much, you may want to increase SL. But if you get that sometimes, better if you do nothing about it. Lower profit is better than loss.
