Breakout system. — Sounds essentially like a breakout system. Breakouts occur less than bounces. With 1:1 RR you are likely to die a death of a 1000 cuts. Perhaps a system of trading with the trend? IMHO.

A possible trading method to be made?

AUD — My charts said it all. But if China GDP had surprised to the upside it likely would have been very different.
